Leones.
Caracas scored 4 runs in the top of the 4th inning when they had 4 base hits.
The key offensive moment was provided by Gary Sheffield who silenced the
crowd when he smashed a two-run homer (his 6th of the season). Caracas had 8
hits for the afternoon.
The win was credited to Roger Clemens(4-2) who went 6 innings allowing no
runs. Clemens got relief help from Tim Harikkala who gained credit for his
1st save. Barry Zito(3-3) was tagged with the loss. He allowed 6 runs and 8
